Christmas had always been a nice time for Dominique who usually spent the time with her family back at the burrow, this year however she was staying back at the Castle to spend time with Everett, something that had saddened her parents. Dominique knew that her parents didn't approve of Everett in the same way that many of her cousins didn't. Dominique pulled out a pair of green skinny jeans and a white sweater, teamed with red hat and scarf... following the whole theme of red, white and green, after that she rooted around for Everett's present and headed on down to the the great hall for breakfast.
The great hall wasn't as busy as it would be on a normal day but the regular amount of food was still piled onto the four house tables. With Everett's gift tucked under her arm she headed for the Gryffindor table, casually looking around to see if her boyfriend was actually around. When she didn't spot him she sat down and started to pile up her plate with breakfast items, one of which was a mince pie. Sure they weren't really breakfast items but they sure did taste good.
Dominique ran a hand through her hair before starting to eat her food, casually greeting other students that she knew who were also coming to eat breakfast. Dominique had been with Everett for almost 3 months now and she wasn't ashamed to say that she thought that she might actually be in love with him. Sure she was only 15 and he was two years older at 17 but age to her was just a number. She really did hope that Everett would show his face soon.Wearing this <3

It was early when Dominique woke up shivering in her bed and it took a few moment for her to even realize it was Christmas day. Normally this Weasley was first to jump at the thought of going home to spend time with her family whereas this year she decided to stay behind. Her reason for staying was none other than the notorious Everett Avery. The two of them had been in a steady relationship for about a month now and Dominique could happily say she was very in love with him right now, no matter what her family said.
She rummaged through her trunk for red jeans and a cream blouse, of course she wanted to look Christmasy today. After then pulling on her boots and numerous pieces of jewelry she grabbed Everett's present and headed on down to the great hall for breakfast. She left her hair down in loose waves for a change and she wondered if any of her other cousins were staying for Christmas, she hadn't spoken to them much at all recently.
When she reached the hall she was hit with the enticing smell of mince pies and cinnamon rolls, two of her favorite things at Christmas. "Yummy"
She said with a smile and sat down at a table, taking a mince pie as she casually waited for Everett to show up.

Dom had been feeling pretty depressed lately about pretty much everything related to family life, shed fallen out with dani and rosie over everett but she wasnt going to pick them over her feelings for him. She'd sent beau a message hoping that he would meet her outside the gryffindor common room. "Please beau show up..." she said softly.

Dominique and Everett had been a couple for a few weeks now and everything so far was perfect, something that she'd never really expected to happen. On the family front however she hadn't been doing too well at all. She'd pissed off Danica and several of her other family members but she wasn't about to give up her happiness just for them. She ran a hand through her hair as she headed down towards the grounds with her sketch pad and pencils, she wondered if she was going to bump into any of her family members today and if they would even speak to her.

The sun had just started setting and Dominique was sitting down in the common room sketching, this time it was just idle little drawings of hearts and cutesy things. She'd been spending a lot of time with Everett Avery recently but she really didn't care who knew. Everett actually made her feel really special and being part of such a big family made that kind of hard to feel sometimes. Especially with a rebellious sister and a younger brother she felt kind of stuck in the middle and unnoticed.
She pulled her long blonde hair into a ponytail before putting down her sketch pad and going through her bag, looking for some of the sweets that Everett had brought her on their first meeting.
